Saying Holy Name of God Purifies Man’s Heart  

Tabanan (Atnews)--Spiritual teacher H.H. Atmanivedana Swami Maharaj stated that saying the holy names of God (Sankirtan) can purify the hearts of all people. “They are all burned in the fire of life cycle, especially material, namely birth, disease, old age and death,” said Atmanivedana in Tabanan on Sunday (Mar. 31).

This was conveyed when giving a speech at the Sri Jagannath Festival Boat Yatra (SJFBY) III attended by members of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) on Lake Beratan, Tabanan.

The festivity was also attended by H.H. Kavicandra Swami Maharaj, H.H. Maha Visnu Swami Maharaj and President of the World Hindu Parishad (WHP), Dr. I Made Mangku Pastika.

He emphasized that the understanding should be continuously spread in re-spiritualizing human peace based on the formulation of Sri Jagannath. Whatever belief and class human belongs to, he only has a temporary body life because his true purpose is returning to Lord Krishna’s house. “In reality, humans call upon the name of God with many names, but He is the same God,” he said.

The formula of human life has been provided where God is the highest connoisseur and man is his servant. Moreover, the holy names of God will be proclaimed throughout the world in accordance with the instructions of Vedic literature.

Meanwhile, H.H. Kavicandra Swami Maharaj added that God Almighty (Sri Jagannath) serves as the ruler of the universe and planets (material and spiritual nature).

Such an event is intended to give graces and positive vibrations to human beings because Sri Jagannath has traveled around the world through various activities organized.

Similarly, H.H. Maha Visnu Swami Maharaj also added that God is a friend not only to human beings but also to plants and animals.

For those who have known this, they will achieve peace from misery and material suffering. “We are very happy because of being able to be in Bali denoting the most peaceful place in the world,” he concluded. (ART/PS/ika)
