Badung (Atnews) - On 18th July 2025, Dhyan Foundation conducted a special Sanatan Kriya session in collaboration with AT news. The event was held at Taman Shiva Loka, Monumen Perjuangan Bangsal, in Dalung, Bali. The focus of this special session were 14 asanas for body sculpting and pranayama and dhyan for bringing about change from within.
Dhyan Foundation teaches Yog, Mantras and Meditation across the globe under the guidance of Ashwini Guru Ji, who is adept in ancient sciences of Yog, Mantra, Spiritual Healing, Yagyas, Vedic Martial Arts , art of mace and Ayurveda. All Dhyan Foundation initiatives are free of charge because 'Yog is Sadhana, not business'.
Sanatan Kriya encapsulates all the eight limbs of Patanjali Ashtang Yog in totality. It was devised by Ashwini Guru ji to suit the hectic lifestyle of modern man, and aims to induce a state of balance in various layers of existence - physical, emotional, financial and mental. Once the body is in balance, disease ceases to enter and spiritual experiences follow. Beauty, glow, magnetism, health, heightened senses are some of the by-products that come along the way.
Asanas must not be confused with exercise. For while exercise increases metabolic rate, asanas make it optimum. Sage Patanjali described an asana as “SthirSukhamAsanam,” it means that posture that you can hold for any long period of time, peacefully, with it giving you pleasure, is an asana. Only when an asana is perfected do you feel bliss and stillness in that posture which is indicative of you having thoroughly gone over the yoni, which that asana is indicative of.
The efficacy of the practice of Sanatan Kriya has been accepted by leading doctors and scientists of India (testimonials can be read at dhyanfoundation.com). In fact, students of Ashwini Guru ji gave a live demonstration of science of clairvoyance and how to reduce pulse rate even after 45 minutes of strenuous asanas in front of a live audience of doctors at Indian Medical Association Mumbai and received a certificate for the same.
Guruji says, "A Yogi is not bound by age, diet, gender, lifestyle or religion. Yoga sets you free" and this was demonstrated in today's session in Dalung, with participants ranging in age from 8 years to 80 years! Despite doing the set of 14 fast-paced dynamic body sculpting asanas, all participants reported a reduced breath rate and noticed an instant positive change within them.
It’s important to share that "Karma is the fuel that propels you on the journey of the spirit," says Ashwini Guruji of Dhyan Ashram. The Organization is therefore actively involved in the welfare of humans (especially women and tribal dwellers), animals, and the environment through various service initiatives in India including free food distribution camps, free education for underprivileged communities, women's empowerment programs, rural development programs, rescue-treatment-rehabilitation of sick, injured, abandoned, orphaned, and rescued animals. Currently, in Indonesia, the Dhyan Foundation organizes weekly sessions in Lombok and monthly sessions in Bali, to teach the ancient science of Yoga, free of charge. (Z/001)
