Ayodhya Ram Temple, Center for World Civilization

Denpasar (Atnews) - Chairperson of Prajaniti Bali, Wayan Sayoga, fully supported the inauguration and return of the Ram Temple in Ayodya, India, Monday (Jan 22).

The Prana Pratishtha ceremony at Ram Temple was attended by Indian Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, and Chairperson of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Mohan Bhagwat.

On that inauguration were also invited some religious figures such as Chief of Bageshwar Dham, Dhirendra Shastri (Religious Guru), Baba Ramdev (Yoga Guru) as well as Jagadguru Rambhadracharya (Religious Guru).

Similarly, there were biggest celebrities of India, including Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Kangana Ranaut, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Anupam Kher, Arun Govil, Sunil Lahiri, Dipika Chikhlia, Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli, Rishab Shetty and Subash Ghai.

Then, the business people invited included Mukesh Ambani, Dilip Kumar V Lakhi, Mukesh Patel, Govindbhai Dholakia, Mahesh Kabutarwala, Lavji Badshah, WS Habib as well as Aditya Mittal.

Hindus all over the world also celebrated the Prana Pratishtha of Ram Temple. Even a huge Shri Ram billboard adorned Times Square in New York.

Apart from that, the festival was also celebrated in temples throughout England, where the Indian community is one of the largest diaspora groups.

Additionally, the Government of Mauritius has announced a special two-hour break for Hindu public officials on January 22 so that they could participate in local events commemorating the Prana Pratishtha of Shri Ram Lalla in the Indian temple city of Ayodhya. 

More interestingly, holy water jars containing holy water were also brought in from 156 countries from 7 continents of the world, including from Bali (Indonesia) and offered at the main holy place, Ram Lalla mandir.

Approximately nine priests from Pune sang Sanskrit shlokas at the ceremony. On that occasion, there was a screening of short film showing about the journey to collect water from the rivers. Water from Pakistan was first sent by Pakistani Hindus to Dubai and then from Dubai it was brought to Delhi and then to Ayodhya.

Apart from Pakistan, water also came from the rivers of Suriname, Kazakhstan, Canada, Tibet, Tanzania, Nigeria, America, France, Germany, England, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives and Bangladesh. Even water was brought from Antarctica, which is largely inaccessible.

For this reason, Sayoga also revealed that the vibrations of the event reached Bali and Indonesia. Such event could be held after more than 500 years of Hindu struggle. This is a historical event that will be remembered throughout the times by people in all parts of the world.

Such an event placed the position, culture and civilization of Hinduism at its true level. Moreover, Itihasa Ramayana has connected Bali (Indonesia) with India for a long time. Currently, they inherit the cultural similarities between Bali and India, a relationship that has been going on for thousands of years.

In addition, for 75 years, India and Indonesia have had diplomatic relations and have been going on well and various collaborations have been made in various fields such as in education, trade and politics. These efforts can improve relations between the two countries, both Indonesia and Indonesia.

History is not only a source of knowledge about the past, but also a medicine for the human brain, mind and soul if it is obtained through the right methods and manners. 

“On the contrary, if we turn away from the glory of history, let alone forget it, then our life journey will be colored by pain, untruth and even destruction,” he said.

Like other humans, throughout his life he is covered by various sufferings, but the difference is that he is not affected or touched by these sufferings. He remained upright and steadfast in the path of Dharma (truth) and with courage firmly opposed and put an end to the actions of Adharma (untruth)

Shri Ram is the true guide and leader of humanity. He resides in the heart of every living creature. He lives and is present in every corner of nature.

Awakening Moment of Ram

Temple is a turning point in the return of human civilization towards a nobler and more civilized future. It is stated so because the greatness of the history of Ramayana has inspired the world and the universe to continuously grow in harmonious duality. Let us celebrate the return of the light of human civilization in joy and harmony.

In the meantime, the Ramayana Book compiled by Rishi Valmiki consists of 24,000 slokas and has seven parts called seven kandas or chapters. The Ramayana is also found in Javanese literature in the form of kakawin or long narrative poem, including in Malay there is also the Hikayat Seri Rama. Likewise, kekawin of Ramayana in Old Javanese and Balinese is expressed in the art form of puppet and ballet.

Several chapters and scenes in the Ramayana are also expressed in the form of paintings and sculptures in Hindu-style architecture. The Ramayana epic has been incorporated into puppetry culture in the archipelago, such as in Java and Bali.

Apart from that, in several countries (such as Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Philippines, et cetera), the Ramayana story is presented as an artistic performance.

It is estimated that during the time of the ancient Mataram kingdom in the ninth century the Ramayana stories were adopted to kakawin, and then they were also depicted in temple reliefs and drama stories.

This epic also inspired President Soekarno, the first president of the Republic of Indonesia, who was fascinated by the Ramayana, especially with one of the characters, namely Jatayu, the son of Aruna and nephew of Garuda.

Sukarno glorified the figure in the form of garuda, an eagle. So, based on the inspiration of Soekarno, he then named the first aviation company of Indonesia Garuda. It also included the use of Garuda bird as the coat of arms, having even become a source of pride for the Indonesian people.

Ram Temple of Ayodhya is an inspiration for upholding dharma in the Kali Yuga era which is full of various conflicts rooted in ego and greed. (GAB/ART/001)
